Pokémon Name: Pidgeotto
Type: Normal/Flying
Classification: Bird Pokemon
Pokédex Number: 017
Ability: Keen Eye and Tangled Feet
Dream World ability: Big Pecks – Defense can't be lowered
Useful Attacks: Wing Attack
Location Found:
D/P/P: Evolve from Pidgey
HG/SS: Routes 2, 8, 13, 14, 15, 25, 37, 43, Viridian Forest
Black: Trade, Poke Transfer
White: Evolve Pidgey
Now here's an interesting problem - Pidgeotto evolves at level 18, but its nearest competitor, Spearow, evolves at level 20 into Fearow, a Pokemon that's much higher in stats than Pidgeotto. Granted, the latter evolves again at level 36 into the comparable-in-strength Pidgeot, but what to do? Side with the fast leveler or stick with Pidgey to the end? Our money's always been with ol' Pidgey and Pidgeotto - it's just more fun to watch things evolve than peter out early on.
Evolution: From Pidgey at 18, to Pidgeot at 36
