Skyrim Switch lets you unlock Link's Breath of the Wild outfit and weapons and OHMYGODLOOKATIT

E3 2017 (opens in new tab) has finally fulfilled the promise made by the very first Nintendo Switch reveal: The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim (opens in new tab) on the go. Bethesda confirmed the Switch version of its popular fantasy RPG during its press conference with a short teaser showing off one major new feature - the ability to unlock Link's outfit, sword, and shield from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild via amiibo.

It should be noted that the logo used to advertise this game is simply "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim," meaning none of the extra enhancements or mod compatibility that came with the more recent Special Edition. Still, it's Elder Scrolls in a handheld - Bethesda definitely put some points into its Technomancy skill tree to get that working.
