SAG Awards 2013 winners announced

The Screen Actors Guild Awards were handed out last night (27 January 2013), with Argo , Daniel Day-Lewis and Jennifer Lawrence among the winners.

Argo picked up the ‘Outstanding Performance By A Cast In A Motion Picture’ award, having received the Producers Guild award on the previous night (often seen as a good indicator for the film that’ll take home the big prize on Oscar night).

Jennifer Lawrence was named ‘Outstanding Female Lead’ for Silver Linings Playbook , with Daniel Day-Lewis scoring the male equivalent for Lincoln .

Tommy Lee Jones ( Lincoln ) and Anne Hathaway ( Les Misérables ) took the ‘Supporting Role’ awards.

Skyfall was awarded for its stunt ensemble.
