Resident Evil Outbreak 2 Hints

    OPENING DOORS

If you cant find the key or the doors is guarded by enemies then breaking it down is the best way to go. using a gun to open a door consumes ammunition and a tracle works only in certain situations.

  • PS2 | Submitted by GamesRadar

    Beat Scenario 1

In the beginning its best if you use pipes instead of your guns. when you get out of J's bar go upstairs, go straight turn to your left look on the table theirs a nail gun go to the boards in front of the door you came through use the nail gun. Go to the table by the couches pick up the newspaper under the paper is the blue key use it to open the blue door. go up the stairs turn to your right go in the door go to the table and get the forklift key then leave the room go to the forklift and use the key lift the lever then climb the ladder crawl to the opening and go to the end of the passage and break the fence then you have a time limit to get to the front of jays bar. after you get to the front of jays bar. make a barricade then get on the police van and get all the equipment then detonate the explosive and then comes the ending of Scenario 1.

    Hell Fire Suspen-Dead (super Licker)

if u have good enough heath u can just run by it to freedom or if u picked up the grenade launcher u can kill it if u have a full clip so don't waste your ammo u should be able to kill it with 4 bullets of the Grenade Rounds but if not just run by its a lot easier

  • PS2 | Submitted by GamesRadar

    Below Freezing Point G-Mutant

get it to stand on the Train tracks then run to the right side of the train and and flip the switch this will cause lots of damage to the G-Mutant but u will have to wait a full minute to resets before using the switch again. if your Yoko, or playing online with Yoko have them save the Magnum Ammo for the boss it will take most of the ammo to kill the G-Mutant but its faster than hitting it with the train.

  • PS2 | Submitted by GamesRadar

    Hive Boss Giant Leech

If your Kevin or Cindy go up to the roof top before you fight this boss and pick up the sub machinegun the code needed is (0930) it can be reloaded with handgun ammo but all u need is one bullet to kill the Giant leech just run all the way back after your boat crashes and when the leech gets next to the gas tank were the boat was shoot it this will kill the Leech in ONE it no matter how are u have the game set

  • PS2 | Submitted by GamesRadar

    OutBreak

get the Detonator Main Unit In plan View Then Run to the right side of the street and get the Detonator Handle on the cop on the street pole Combine those then to get the Detonator then run (or shoot) pass the zombies and go to the steel suit case and the dead cop go behind the cop and use the Detonator

    Zoo Hint.

This isn't really a code, but it is a useful hint. When in the zoo all ammo counts, so don't waste if if you can avoid it. Just run away from the elephant when it comes after you, this saves time and ammo. Instead, wait until you come upon the performance area, lure the elephant in the gate and activate the switch to trap it temporarily. You can choose to wait for it to break out or make your escape, your choice. To make the final fight easier, DO NOT USE ANY of the Rifle ammo. This weapon is extremely powerful and ammo is scarce. Instead, I recommend playing as Yoko Suzuki, (she is my favorite) and get a hold of the shotgun and Rifle. After crawling through the small space to fight the lion, unload your shotgun into it, remember not to use the rifle because you will need it for the elephant if it isn't dead. It will take a good amount of shotgun rounds but the beast will fall. At this point continue forward and pull out your rifle. A cutscene will show with the charging of the elephant. Use of at least two shots will defeat the boss. Make your way over to the train and Congrats!, you made it.

    AN EASIER WAY TO ATTACK

You can stay faced towards enemies with action aiming. Combine this with normal aiming to help you defeat enemies

  • PS2 | Submitted by GamesRadar

    5 Shotguns in "Outbreak"

1.Use Alyssa with her key pics to open a cabin in the drawing room "Single play:Easy" and in their is a Shotgun.(Note:in the drawing room there is also shotgun rounds in that room) 2.In the police car trunk right outside of the entrance of J's bar, lies a shotgun in the trunk so open the trunk and obtain the gun.(Note: hurry up and get the shotgun in the trunk because at the same time the zombies are roaming around the streets for the flesh outside the bar) 3.Behind the bar where this one officer led you out of the front of the bar where you suppose to open the fuel tank to burn the zombies when you find the lighter lying next to the officer that was attacked by a zombie their also lie a shotgun in front of him that he left behind.(Note:watch out of the zombies that is blocking the way to obtain the shotgun so kill them or get them out of the way) 4. After you hitched a ride with another officer after you burned the zombies he will evantually he will stop because of a road block, in the back of the truck their is 2 shotguns(the 2nd shotgun is also. 5)and their is also 2 shotgun round cases with 21 shells each case.

    Leave your teammates behind

The other 7 playable characters do not have this feature; this only occurs with the character Alyssa, and only in the Outbreak Scenario. Additionally, you can play the rest of the 4 scenarios as Alyssa with no secret tricks.

  • PS2 | Submitted by GamesRadar

    Secret Strategy for Alyssa

You can fully play the game all the way through with Alyssa, but note these tips: If you either use the ad-lib button (square button) or use the teammate communication commands after leaving J's bar, the game may lock up on you in a few spots. Talking party members may also trigger this freeze. If you encounter this, you may have to do one or both of the following to finish the first scenario as the character Alyssa: Do not use any voice commands (do not press the square button or the right analog stick).

  • PS2 | Submitted by GamesRadar

    Decisions, Decisions Thanatos-R

If u Got the Ampoule Shooter you will have to find the ammo for it needs a Daylight Capsule Daylight if you can get these items it will kill Thanatos-R in one Hit if not Run for the Rocket Lancher or take out your strongest weapon and start to shoot him if he jumps run if he lands on you he will cause lots of damage the rocket launcher cant kill Thanatos-R but it will Cause Lots of Damage to him

  • PS2 | Submitted by GamesRadar

The Hive Mini Boss Leech man

after unlocking B2 using one of this codes (3555,5315,82111) if u picked up the blood packs or not when your in the Fixed Temperature Experiment Room just open the sliding door and wait if you have a blood pack let it down of not just run back thought the sliding door really fast and turn the control console to high
