PlayStation Vita needs some publicity. But probably not this sort of publicity. Designed to highlight the fact that the machine has touch sensitve areas on the front and back, this French magazine advert implies such functionality is exactly like a four-breasted woman. You know, cos she'd have touch sensitive areas on... oh, OK, you already understood that.
The picture appeared on Twitter and came from this Yfrog page (opens in new tab) and doesn't appear to be anywhere else, so we can't vouch for it's authenticity, although we have contacted Sony to ask (we'll update this story with any response). But it does look real, given the professionalism of the image. What do you make of it? A clever advertising idea combining titillation and controversy while highlighting a product's unique selling point? Or a hopelessly misogynistic and embarassing conceptual leap?
