Sony will release the next incarnation of their PS2 karaoke series SingStar in May.
SingStar Popworld will include 30 new songs from the likes of Avril Lavigne, Jamelia, Keane, Robbie Williams, The Black Eyed Peas and The Hives.
Familiar modes such as Pass the Mic and Duets return while new features include Rap Scoring in which, according to Sony, you can "gain extra points as you battle against your crew to see who is the master of the mic, with the ultimate MC showdown!" Erm, word.
Meanwhile, Medley mode strings together short segments of five songs and there's also a selection of new voice filters for use in Playback mode.
Like its predecessors - and - the game comes with two microphones that plug into your PS2 via a USB adaptor and it's also EyeToy compatible, allowing players to watch themselves on-screen as they warble along with McFly.
