Bryan Singer’s latest on-set image from X-Men: Days Of Future Past might not be as stunning as his recent Sentinel picture , but it does help shed some light on how Quicksilver will be presented.
Evan Peters will be playing the super-fast mutant, and while there’s no sign of him in the new image, it does demonstrate how Singer plans to create the super-speed effect.
The new picture shows a tiny, brightly lit-set, with Singer confirming he will shoot the character at an ultra-slow 3600 frames-per-second to create the desired effect.

The new film will see Xavier’s merry band of mutants attempting to avert a terrifying future in which their kind have either been bundled into concentration camps or exterminated altogether.
Directed by Singer and co-starring Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Jennifer Lawrence, X-Men: Days Of Future Past opens in the UK on 22 May 2014.
