Okay, so the toilet humour isn't a huge surprise, but there are a few glimpses of new stuff in the South Park: Fractured but Whole Gamescom trailer, which you can watch above.
As well as a cute scene involving The New Kid taking out some burglars - including one who's just stepped out of the water closet - there's a quick montage of the new costumes your character can wear. Much like the first South Park game, they all seem themed, which is perfectly in keeping with the superheroic angle of the game. The big difference here is that players can be male or female this time around.
'Lucky' Gamescom attendees will also be able to try out the Noculus Rift, a device that lets you smell the farts of your character. And just by writing that, I'm suddenly glad I'm not in Cologne. *gags*
South Park: The Fractured but Whole comes to PS4, Xbox One and PC on December 6, 2016.
