More Diablo 3 closed beta details leaked

The Diablo III closed beta has not officially started. The date when Blizzard Entertainment will begin inviting fans to sample the upcoming sequel has yet to be announced in the most recent version of the official game FAQ. But it appears that assets and details pulled from the closed beta – including character animations, item suffixes and prefixes, and screenshots - have begun to surface. It also seems that a track from the game’s soundtrack has been ripped from the beta and leaked.

Having previewed the Diablo III closed beta ourselves, the information and assets seem legitimate. So if you’re absolutely starving for anything Diablo-related, these details may help tide you over until BlizzCon 2011 in October, when we expect to hear more on Diablo III and StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm straight from Blizzard Entertainment.
