More than 30.2 million PS4 consoles have now been sold

It's safe to say that PS4 sales are going rather well. Sony has announced that more than 30.2 million of the shiny parallelograms have been sold since launch in November 2013.

"We are sincerely grateful that gamers across the globe have continued to choose PS4 as the best place to play since launch two years ago," says President and Global CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, Andrew House. "We are committed to bringing engaging games and entertainment services to users worldwide. Thanks to the support of our partners, PS4 continues to be the premier platform for game and interactive entertainment innovation."

When we last saw PS4 sales figures, it was back in July with 25.3 million so that's almost six million extra over four months. Not bad, Sony, not bad. The official price point for the PS4 is now £299.99 but current Black Friday deals mean that you can snare yourself a 500GB PS4 with Star Wars Battlefront and FIFA 16 for £273.99 on Amazon.
