Game: BC
Didn't Come Out: Holiday 2004
What It Wasn't: Dinosaurs, death and super-developer Peter Molyneaux, together at last! The ambitious prehistoric action/adventure was repeatedly shown to elite press in private rooms, and players were challenged with leading humanity out of their own impending extinction. In addition to forming hunting parties and fighting dinosaurs, you'd also have to fend off a competing race of simians.
Will It Live Again? Maybe - but that's a big maybe. "The decision to suspend work on any games project is always a very difficult one, particularly when it is a title with the potential of BC," said Molyneaux. "We hope to revive the project at a later date and will endeavour to assign as many of the team as possible to other Lionhead projects."
