Is Kevin Smith working on a Mallrats sequel?

Kevin Smith has shot down rumours that Clerks 3 will be his last film, listing a host of future projects via his Facebook page and even hinting at a sequel to Mallrats

Clerks 3 is set to begin filming in May, but according to Smith, his previous suggestion that he would retire after completing the film is no longer the case.

“Saw some websites are reporting CLERKS III will be my last flick,” said Smith in a post on his Facebook page. “I did say this at one point, but TUSK changed all that. Now, the next 2 years are booked.”

“We shoot CLERKS III in May. The HIT SOMEBODY hockey miniseries finally follows in the fall, shooting September to Christmas 2015. Then in Feb/March 2016, we tackle MOOSE JAWS and ANTI-CLAUS. And after that? I smell a rat…”

That certainly sounds like a Mallrats reference to us! One more round of Truth Or Date, anyone? Break out the chocolate covered pretzels…
