How to watch Sing in very public places (and not get embarrassed by your singing)

Searching for the ultimate feel good film? Look no further than Sing - the animated movie about a Pop Idol-style singing competition… for animals. Nothing makes an early morning commute more bearable than watching a movie on your device. Just make sure you put those headphones in and stop yourself from humming along and annoying the other commuters. There’s nothing like getting caught singing Lady Gaga at the top of your voice and having to apologise to the elderly gentleman next to you for your Poker Face routine (you know you have one). 

Relaxing in the tub

Everyone sings in the shower but the bath is a different matter. You might want to have a soak and relax while watching a movie, but don’t forget to lock the bathroom door or you could get caught in the act shampooing and singing. Plus, with all those arms and legs swishing about, you’re only ever one bad hair flick away from knocking your iPad into the water. Oops.

Who said you can’t watch movies AND get fresh air? Grab your friends, get some food, and take your laptop to the park and have a picnic while you watch a movie surrounding by nature. Before you know it, you and your mates will be having a singalong with finger food - let’s just hope there’s no dog walkers about to hear your (admittedly not great, but not terrible) singing voice. 

Exercising at the gym

Exercise might feel like a chore but if you can watch a movie while you run on that treadmill, you’ll barely notice how hot and sweaty you get. Plus, the songs in Sing will keep you moving - just leave the singing to the professionals or you might get complaints from the management. On the other hand, a singalong spin class might just be the thing everyone’s looking for…

Taking a break in a cafe

Sometimes you just need to get away from it all and pop into your local cafe for a coffee and a quick bite to eat. Take a break from the hectic world around you and get lost in a great feel good movie while you wait for your order. No matter how long you have to wait, the time will fly by and while you might have other patrons leaning over your shoulder to watch, you don’t want to let them hear you sing. Trust me.
