I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.

Rockstar Games has released a new trailer for GTA 5's upcoming PC version, and not to be outdone by those nigh-fetishistic 4K screenshots, it runs at a hypnotic 1080p and 60 frames per second with all the new visual effects cranked up.

The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of GTA 5 were troubled by frequent slowdown, though its new-gen updates maintained a respectable 30 frames per second while beautifying San Andreas and its residents. With the release of GTA 5's PC version on April 14, you'll finally get to explore an even-prettier Los Santos and Blaine County at whatever kind of framerate your computer can manage.

If your system doesn't quite measure up to the beefy recommended specs (and that's not even trying to run the whole thing at 4K), at least you can still enjoy the trailer… though, ahem, Rockstar does advise you watch it on "the most recent generation device and browser" for "the best viewing experience possible.”

Aside from (potentially) beautiful graphics, GTA 5's PC version will also feature a new radio station full of songs inspired by the game's original score.
