XXV. Puzzle Focus - Euryale's Defeat
In the next area, you'll find a square puzzle. What you need to do is raise four columns labeled blue, green, red and yellow. Raise the first one, then pull the lever to your right. Freeze time and dive into the water to swim under the gate into the next area. Pull the lever on your right (underwater) to keep that gate permanently open. Surface, and raise the second column. Dive back underwater and there's another lever to pull, which opens two gates leading to the next area. You can't swim straight under both, as there isn't time, so instead get right under the first gate and power up a dash. If you don't make it you have to swim round to the left and start again.
In the third column area there's a loose wall, so break it and get the Gorgon eye in the chest before raising the third column. Go back under water and break the door into the fourth column area. Raise the final column and pull the near-by lever to lower a ladder in the first column area. Run through the archway and climb the ladder ahead of you. Collect the chests with the red orbs at top and head back down the ladder. Now take the corridor to your right. In here there's a fifth column to raise, but as you approach the crank, you'll be attacked by three of the mace carrying soldiers and plenty of archers. The Golden Fleece parry is handy here.
Once they're dead, use the crank to lift the fifth column, freeze time, and sprint up the ladder outside. At the top freeze time again, and you should be able to grapple round in time. If you want them, there are chests to the right on the final column you grapple on containing a Phoenix feather and some red orbs.
XXVI. Euryale's Defeat, continued
Next, move down the corridor to an elevator. Pull the lever and it'll start moving up, and dogs will appear. Kill them quick, because at the top the lift doesn't stop, so you need to tap Circle to avoid being crushed. Repeat a couple of times and a gap will appear, letting you through.
Now you're in a giant cavern, and there's a rock creature blocking your way. Space is limited, and you'll be harried by bats, so use your bow to cause damage quickly. Once he's dead you can swing across the gap and save your game. Fight through the skeletons and run up the spiral staircase. Pull the lever, and you'll be able to return to the surface - back in Destiny's Atrium.
