Yerba Buena is a game within a game where you're in charge of fixing world-breaking glitches and it's out in two months
Awesome art style and even cooler world-manipulating powers
Just revealed at the Future Games Show Spring Showcase, Yerba Buena is a brand new game from publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Mad About Pandas (makers of titles like Hitchhiker - A Mystery Game).
Dropping on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on May 26, 2026, so just over two months away, Yerba Buena is a game within a game with a seriously cool art style.
When an alt-reality 1976 San Francisco is affected by an increasingly bad glitch, the discovery of a gadget called the Oscillator lets our hero dive into a world within worlds.
Suddenly with the power of the Oscillator, you're heading into the developers' creation, able to move buildings, phase out cars, flip gravity, and more in an attempt to try and save your friends and the city.
There are tons of game references contained in this epic trailer alone, and a huge range of locations that you're going to have to explore, fix and experiment in.
With a mysterious biker holding your friend hostage at the centre of the entire thing, you can expect things it get super weird - and hopefully super fun - in Yerba Buena.
Yerba Buena is out on May 26, 2026 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X and you can wishlist it on Steam now. You can also pre-order the game on all platforms right now.
