Early Access cosy space sim Young Suns is hitting 1.0 on Xbox on August 31, and finally coming to Steam later in the year, as revealed in a new trailer at the Future Games Show. This solo or co-op adventure sees you exploring and home building alone, or with up to three friends, around Jupiter, and being adorable with it.
This is a game about living the dream in space, as you travel a beautifully stylized galaxy in your own personal ship. There are numerous locations to discover like planetoids, ruins, and stations, all in search of quests, treasures, crafting recipes, items and more. You can help people, customise your space ship home, and even makes friends along the way. What you do is entirely up to you.
For example, there are over 30 different characters to meet and talk to, with over two months of unique daily chats. You can help them, get to know them and hang out over time. There's also over 80 different items and recipes to find as you explore. You can even repair old furniture or clothes to spruce up your character, your home, or donate them to help the people you've got to know.
Your ship is a home away from home, and you'll be able to paint it, arrange the furnishings and more to create your ideal space. Similarly you can change up almost every aspect of your character and look to personalise your adventures.
You'll need to improves your skills as you progress as well, upgrading your tools to take on harder jobs, while expanding and upgrading your ship. And you can always call on friends, with that 1-4 player co-op that lets you keep your personal progression away from multiplayer sessions. There's always plenty to do but in a cosy, chill way that doesn't try to hurry you.
