Humanity's last output is under threat in the new trailer for sci-fi survival crafter Atmosfar
Atmosfar, a sci-fi survival crafting game set on a floating archipelago in the shadow of humanity's total extinction, is narrowing in on its release date in a new trailer.
Shown off as part of the Future Games Show Spring Showcase Powered by HyperX, Atmosfar puts a threatening spin on the otherworldly survival crafting of games like No Man's Sky and Astroneer. Spread across a world of floating islands, it's up to you to uncover the fate of the final outpost of humanity, adapting to whatever natural disasters this alien world might throw at you.
You'll do that by using the resources at your disposal to set up your base, moving it around this airborne world as and when you need to. To help with that, you'll be able to craft and upgrade flying vessels, letting you move between islands and, crucially, take the valuables you've gathered with you.
Up to four players can play together, sharing resources and vehicles to uncover the world's secrets a little easier. But if you prefer some quiet exploration, you'll also be able to play Atmosfar on your own, swapping out components in your base and on your vehicles to make your experience of the game unique.
The end of the trailer confirms that Atmosfar is getting closer, narrowing in on a Q2 2026 release date. That means you'll get to head out on your survival crafting adventure some time in the Spring, when Atmosfar launches on PC via Steam.
