"The future of Hell Let Loose" is Vietnam, and you can play it next year
The hardcore military FPS keeps the content coming in 2026
Hell Let Loose - Vietnam has been announced, and you don't have long before you can play it.
As teased by Expression Games itself, "the future of Hell Let Loose" was announced with a trailer at Future Games Show at Gamescom, we kick off with the year 1965 appearing on our screen – our first hint of what's to come. For the next 90 seconds, we see various cinematics and gameplay snippets that mix up big, fiery explosions and more suspenseful moments that see soldiers slowly move through the jungle before combat kicks off.
- Play Hell Let Loose on Steam now
As we near the end of the trailer, we get the tease of a 2026 release alongside a reveal that Hell Let Loose - Vietnam is coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox X|S.
While we'll need to wait and see what comes next, Hell Let Loose at launch likely reveals some more of what we can expect. If you've been out of the loop, Hell Let Loose is an "ever-expanding experience" that's pitched as a "hardcore" World War Two FPS with big battles that see 100 players spread across infantry, tanks, artillery, and more. Expect a dynamically shifting front line alongside a unique resource-based, RTS-inspired meta-game.
Hell Let Loose – Vietnam is sure to offer more of that core concept while building upon it in plenty of ways we'll find out about soon. The follow-up is due to launch in 2026 across Steam, Epic, PS5, and Xbox X|S.

I joined GamesRadar+ in May 2022 following stints at PCGamesN and PocketGamer.Biz, with some freelance for Kotaku UK, RockPaperShotgun, and VG24/7 thrown in for good measure. When I'm not running the news team on the games side, you'll find me putting News Editor duties to one side to play the hottest JRPG of 20 years ago or pillaging the depths of Final Fantasy 14 for a swanky new cloak – the more colourful, the better.
