The release dates for two Xbox Game Studios titles on the Nintendo Switch 2 have apparently leaked ahead of today's Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase.
Potential spoilers for the Nintendo Direct (if spoilers for adverts exist?)
One of the strongest third parties for the Nintendo Switch 2 has ironically been a former competitor: Microsoft, with Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4 releasing last year and South of Midnight, Fallout 4, and Indiana Jones and The Great Circle all pegged to release in 2026. So it was pretty easy to bet that Xbox Game Studios would appear in today's Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, but we may already have found out what the company is bringing to the table.
Dealabs reporter Bilbilkun (who has leaked a ton of things accurately for years now – namely PS Plus lineups) has reported that Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle are set to arrive on Switch 2 this spring – at least physically. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is set to arrive on Switch 2 on May 12, 2026, for $69.99, with it likely being a Game-Key Card release
Fallout 4 will be first to the plate, releasing on April 28, 2026, for $59.99, but the unfortunate news is that Microsoft has seemingly opted for a code-in-box release for the RPG – not even a Game-Key card. And on the same day, the already-released Skyrim Anniversary Edition will also receive a code-in-box release for Switch 2.
Given these are specified as the release dates for the physical copies, I think there's a chance Fallout 4 will follow Skyrim by having its digital release first. Perhaps we could be looking at a shadow drop for the RPG in today's direct. Only time will tell.
