Fallout 4 Switch 2 release date leaks ahead of Nintendo Direct, but it looks like Bethesda's RPG is ditching Game-Key Cards for an even worse code-in-box release

The release dates for two Xbox Game Studios titles on the Nintendo Switch 2 have apparently leaked ahead of today's Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase.

Potential spoilers for the Nintendo Direct (if spoilers for adverts exist?)

Dealabs reporter Bilbilkun (who has leaked a ton of things accurately for years now – namely PS Plus lineups) has reported that Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle are set to arrive on Switch 2 this spring – at least physically. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is set to arrive on Switch 2 on May 12, 2026, for $69.99, with it likely being a Game-Key Card release

Fallout 4 will be first to the plate, releasing on April 28, 2026, for $59.99, but the unfortunate news is that Microsoft has seemingly opted for a code-in-box release for the RPG – not even a Game-Key card. And on the same day, the already-released Skyrim Anniversary Edition will also receive a code-in-box release for Switch 2.
