Fantasy early access city-builder Thrive: Heavy Lies the Crown has just reveled its full release date - and it's coming very soon.

In a new trailer released as part of FGS Live From Los Angeles, developer Zugalu Entertainment confirmed that Thrive: Heavy Lies the Crown will get its full launch on June 18, 2025, after roughly 7 months in Steam Early Access.

During that time it's racked up decent reviews, and the new trailer makes it clear that things are only on their way up. As you rule over the kingdom of Nysamor, you'll have the chance to establish yourself as the benevolent leader of a thriving industrial city, or a warmongering tyrant out to crush anyone who gets in your way.

Whichever path you choose to take, however, you'll have foes standing between you and your ultimate goal, as the mysterious, animalistic Waelgrim bring their strength to bear against your kingdom. War remains an expensive pursuit, however, so even if you take advantage of the game's RTS combat and up to four-player combat, you should be careful not to bite off more than you can chew - even for the most successful ruler, Nysamor can be a dangerous place.

Thrive: Heavy Lies the Crown is available for PC via Steam early access right now.
