Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced footage has leaked ahead of its official reveal earlier this week.
Ubisoft's upcoming remake of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag has been one of the most leaked projects in recent memory, going back to 2023. But the interesting thing about it is that, despite knowing almost everything about it in advance, not one actual bit of footage from the remake was released during its countless leaks. Earlier this week, Ubisoft officially confirmed that we'll get the worldwide reveal of its "worst kept secret" Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, meaning we'll finally get a look at it. So it's somewhat hilarious that right at the finish line, we finally got a leak of some in-game footage.
A short clip of what appears to be the game's reveal trailer was leaked online and reposted by users, offering a very brief look at a ship battle. Players then matched the segment of the trailer to footage from the original game for comparison. And so far, people seem to be quite impressed.

Assassin's Creed has been somewhat of a hit or miss franchise with people for a while now, so Ubisoft remaking what is easily the best game in the series is a smart move. And while it certainly looks more vibrant, the real test will be seeing what Ubisoft decides to do with the gameplay for this remake.
These are the best Assassin's Creed games.
