Adventure puzzle game Will: Follow the Light gets a release date, and it's soon
This beautiful, long-awaited adventure arrives soon
Will: Follow the Light just got a release date at the Future Games Show Spring Showcase Powered by HyperX, and it's just around the corner.
Debuting on April 28, 2026, this is a story-driven, first-person puzzle adventure, and every trailer I've seen of Will: Follow the Light has made me go to wishlist it only to see I've already wishlisted it.
You play as the titular Will, as he undertakes a perilous journey in an attempt to reunite his family. The catch though, is that Will is a lighthouse keeper on a remote island in the northern seas. So when he gets the call that his hometown has been struck by disaster and his only son is missing, he takes to his yacht to try and get home across the treacherous seas.
As you search for your son, more and more questions are going to arise, including around other family members, and all the while you're traversing increasingly inhospitable landscapes.
There's talk of dog sledding across a mountain range, exploring an abandoned island only accessible from the sea, and the home you left behind among the rubble - as you can see in the release date trailer above.
Will: Follow the Light will be launching on PC (via Steam and Epic), PS5 and Xbox Series X next month. Make sure to wishlist it on Steam to check it out.
