The Pragmata New Game+ mode unlocks after you've beaten the game, letting you take your gear into a new run and show off how powerful you've become. It's not much of a challenge mode since there's no difficulty scaling, as far as I can tell, so enemy robots fall very easily. Regardless, it’s good to have the option, so here's everything you need to know about unlocking New Game+ in Pragmata and what exactly you keep and what gets taken away and reset.
How to unlock and start Pragmata New Game+
To unlock New Game+, you just need to complete Pragmata once on any difficulty. Roll the credits and you'll get a notification telling you about New Game+ afterwards. To start a New Game+ run in Pragmata, select the 'New Game+' option on the game's start menu, then select your completed save file from the list. After this, you can select your difficulty, though Standard and Casual are your only options.
After this, you can select your difficulty and whether you want to skip the introduction of the game, up until the point where Hugh and Diana travel to the Shelter using the tram for the first time. There's obviously nothing to collect in this section of the game, so the only reason to not skip it is if you want to play it again and watch all the cutscenes.

Alternatively, you can play through after your New Game+ run when you should have everything almost fully upgraded.
Everything you keep and lose in Pragmata New Game+
Pragmata's New Game+ mode is very generous in terms of what you get to keep, with all of Hugh and Diana's weapons and upgrades remaining intact save for some story-critical items and most collectibles:
- What you keep:
- All Unit Printer unlocks and upgrades for Weapons, Hacking, Abilities, and Attachments
- All Firmware Updater upgrades for Hugh's Suit and Primary Unit and Diana's Hacking
- All Mods for Hugh
- Permanent upgrades from items including Storage Expanders for Diana and Repair Cartridges for Hugh.
- All Pragmata resources and currencies you have on you, such as Lunafilament, Cabin Coins, and Pure Lunum
- Outfit Storage and all outfits
- Cabin Stamp Club Bingo cards and Jukebox music
- Mini Cabins
- Bot Database and entries
- Data Library and all unlocked Secret Reports
- What you lose:
- The ability to destroy blue and red crystals in Pragmata. Since the respective abilities are tied to the story, you must play through the game as normal to get them back.
- All Upgrade Components, Safe Boxes, and Pure Lunum reset, letting you collect them all to help in unlocking every item upgrade.
- Access to all activated escape hatches.
- All REMs
- Access to Cabin and the item exchange, though just need to complete the first level to get them back.
- Training Simulations
- Shelter license level is reset to zero
Having played a little bit of New Game+, I can safely say that it's very easy and you'll be able to beat the game much faster compared to the usual Pragmata length. This mode is essentially a way of getting enough upgrade resources so that you can fully upgrade every single item in the game, so if you're expecting a real challenge, you'll want to check out the Lunatic difficulty instead.
