We've said it before and we'll say it again - not every game starring rappers is a mistake. The evidence? The Def Jam series, which has provided stylish, two-fisted fighting action since it first hit the PS2. The Takeover - based on 2004's console-bound Fight For NY, but with upgrades - is set to hit PSPs in July.
The game is set to feature the faintly amusing mix of brutal fighting and fashion we've come to expect from the Def Jam games. And, of course, the luminaries of the hip-hop world have signed on once again. Check out these new screens, featuring Snoop Dogg, Xzibit, Redman, Lil' Flip and Crazy L'eggs - just click on the images tab above. As soon as we get our hands on a copy of the game, you'll know more.
