Pixar has released the first teaser poster for the upcoming Brave . There will also be a teaser trailer attached to Cars 2 showings.
After seeing concept art and an official image over the past few months, fans can finally get a glimpse at the first official poster.
Brave is set in the Scottish Highlands, and is the first Pixar film to feature a female hero as the lead character.
The film will feature the vocal talents of Kelly Macdonald, Julie Walters, Billy Connolly, Robbie Coltrane and Craig Ferguson.
Of the upcoming trailer, director Mark Andrews told EW: "What we want to get across [with the teaser] is that this story has some darker elements.
“Not to frighten off our Pixar fans — we’ll still have all the comedy and the great characters. But we get a little bit more intense here.”
Brave opens on 22 June 2012 in the US, but UK fans will have to wait until 17 August to see it.
