Sega has confirmed that Aliens: Colonial Marines will arrive on 360, PS3 and PC in late 2008.
The story has been penned by "renowned writers" Bradley Thompson and David Weddle. The game will retain the atmospheric look and feel of the original films as well as the plot element of Marines taking on the aliens.
There'll be a story driven single-player mode and a four player co-op mode. In this mode each player assumes the persona of a Colonial Marine and will have "a distinct role to play in the completion of every mission," says Sega. More multiplayer modes will be revealed later in the year.
No shots with the announcement, which we're getting tired of now. Especially as scans from a US mag hit the webearlier in the week.
