Even Marvel's spoiler lockdown can't hold Kingpin actor Vincent D'Onofrio back, who bafflingly reveals a little too much about his character's upcoming arc in the next two seasons of Daredevil: Born Again.
When pressed on what surprised him most this season in an interview with Take a Look, D'Onofrio first revealed that a boxing match involving Kingpin – glimpsed in the earlier trailers – ends "badly."
The second moment that took D'Onofrio aback appears to be an unnamed moment from the finale of Daredevil: Born Again season 2.
While there are no specific spoilers here, it appears to be so significant that there's a narrative line drawn between the before and after for the character as we approach a third season.
"I guess I kind of knew, inevitably, that it would end the way it does in the second season. But I didn't imagine how, particularly," D'Onofrio said, in a slightly cryptic fashion.
"It's very different to see what happens to him at the end of the second season. It's a very different feel. We pick up from what [those] events have done to him in the third season. You get to meet him and what he's become after that."
Back in the present, Daredevil: Born Again season 2 premieres on Disney Plus on March 24. Charlie Cox's Man Without Fear and Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin are joined once more by Deborah Ann Woll's Karen Page, Wilson Bethel's Bullseye, and – surprisingly, given his on-screen death – Elden Henson's Foggy Nelson.

Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is also rocking up this season as, too, is enigmatic Mr. Charles, played by Matthew Lillard – who seemingly doesn't have time to meddle in New York's mayoral picture.
"So when he is dealing and trifling with someone like Kingpin, he's not that impressed," Lillard told Entertainment Weekly. "That's all I can say, you know? There's this Cheshire Cat sort of energy about him."
