The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is one of the year's most anticipated films – and it's in cinemas very soon. But if you're planning on waiting until the film is available at home then you're probably wondering when The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will be available to stream.

In the new movie, Mario (voiced by Chris Pratt) and Luigi (Charlie Day) embark on a colorful new adventure across space alongside Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy), Toad (Keegan-Michael Key), and Yoshi (Donald Glover) Along the way they'll have to face off against Bowser (Jack Black) – who has been freed from jail – and his equally-villainous son in a movie that looks bigger, funnier, and quite-a-bit weirder than the first.

The first and only place you'll be able to see the new movie in the near future is by getting out and going to watch it at the cinema, where it's released on April 1, 2026. This is a big, colorful, vibrant movie and it's really going to pop visually on the big screen.

After that The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will most likely be made available to rent and buy digitally. Looking back to The Super Mario Movie is helpful in figuring out when this might happen. The 2023 film was also released on April 1, with its digital home release coming on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. With that in mind, we suspect the new film will follow a similar Tuesday release pattern. In other words, we suspect that you'll be able to pay to download the film on either May 12 or May 19, 2026.

Finally, the big question: When is The Super Mario Galaxy Movie coming to streaming? Well, the last movie was released on NBCUniversal's Peacock streaming service on August 3, 2023. Because of that, we speculate that you'll be able to stream The Super Mario Galaxy Movie also on Peacock, and on August 6, 2026.
