If you're still mired in Crucible void kills, you could always skip the exotic bounty hassle and 3D print your own Thorn. This model from MyMiniFactory user Kirby Downey doesn't inflict a nasty damage-over-time debuff, but it does fit over a standard CYMA Glock 18C AEP airsoft pistol.
Discerning Destiny exoticians will see that the model's been simplified a bit so you can use it in an actual airsoft fight without bits breaking off. Still, it's more than half a meter long once fully assembled, and its pointy, glowing green form has shock-and-awe written all over it.
If you're more concerned about visual details than being able to pop your friends with your favorite Destiny gun IRL, check out Downey's original Thorn model instead, which is a distressingly good likeness of the infamous hand cannon. Either way, you'll never have to worry about them getting rebalanced overnight.
