Bereaved ballerina Myriam (Martines) falls passionately in love with art forger Pierre (Arditi) while working in Venice. The couple promptly embark on a world trip, only for tragedy to strike when both Pierre and Myriam's eight-year-old son are drowned. She, however, is determined to continue filming their holiday, and goes on to have a life-changing encounter with Canadian futurologist Marc (Hollogne).

Part modern fairytale, part love letter to the director's wife, this is gloriously shot by cinematographer Pierre William Glenn. But the convoluted plotting and arch dialogue hinder any real sense of poignancy. A strong candidate for the year's most overblown French romantic drama.
