It's that time of the year again when Valve entices us with discounts galore, and it's up to gamers to find the best Steam Spring sale games that are worth all your hard-earned cash. After all, it may just be the start of 2026, but the year is already proving to be on the expensive side, with game and console prices at sky-highs. Steam sales feel especially necessary right now, when it comes to getting our hands on both new games and stone-cold PC classics.

However, let's face it, searching through Steam and seeing green discount badges everywhere you look can get overwhelming and (in my case) very overstimulating. Considering that the Spring Sale also only lasts until March 26, you may be worrying that you simply don't have the time to browse through everything. Well, that's where this page comes in handy.

I've spent eight hours browsing the Steam Sale for my own library, and with the help of our Games Editor, Oscar Taylor-Kent, I've decided to share the top 10 deals that we've spotted so far. I've worked to include a range of genres here, so hopefully you'll find one or two of the best Steam games highlighted that strike your fancy. If all else fails, this ranking will at least give you a starting point on where to start spending cash.

The best Steam Spring Sale games, starting with....

10. Control Ultimate Edition

A woman standing on the ruins of New York City during one of the best Steam Spring sale games, Control Ultimate Edition.

Release: August 27, 2020
Developer: Remedy Entertainment
Price: $3.99/£3.29
Genre: Action

Before Control Resonant comes our way this year, now is the perfect time to check out the original title in the supernatural action story. Control Ultimate Edition is currently 90% off and is at the lowest price it's ever been on Steam, so really, you won't find a better price for it anywhere else, folks. Even if you don't take the glorious amount of savings available here or that the sequel is on its way, I will say that Control is a fantastic experience that is very much worth your time, featuring phenomenal characters, a masterclass in storytelling, and the perfect amount of strangeness to keep you on your toes. Then, there is also the fact that the Ultimate edition includes all the DLC as well. You'll really get the most out of your money with this one, trust us. Or, just read our glowing Control review if you need even more reassurance.

9. Silent Hill f

Release: September 25, 2025
Developer: NeoBards Entertainment Ltd.
Price: $34.99/ £34.99
Genre: Horror

Silent Hill f was personally my best horror game of 2025, so the fact that it's now on sale with a chunky 50% discount immediately caught my attention. It's always rare to see games that were released just a few months ago get a price slash that exceeds the 20% mark on Steam. And considering that Silent Hill f is not only stunning to look at but also offers an incredible exploration of societal feminine expectations through a terrifying psychological lens, the new price feels like a complete steal. Playing as Hinako, you have to navigate a small rural Japanese town that is being overrun by monsters. Solve puzzles, whack enemies down with a crowbar, and slowly piece together her story in this spin-off, which will leave you incredibly excited for the next "non-Silent Hill set", Silent Hill game - Silent Hill: Townfall.

8. Fallout: New Vegas

Release: October 22, 2010
Developer: Obsidian Entertainment
Price: $0.99/ £0.89
Genre: RPG

You may like
  • In Inkonbini: One Store. Many Stories, protagonist Makoto stands in front of the convivence store she's working at for her auntie. • Best free Steam games - Doom Eternal image showing a large armored enemy with a gun for an arm 25 Best free Steam games you can play in 2026

Fallout: New Vegas is the best Fallout game ever made (fight me), and is also one of the most replayed games in my Steam Library. As an RPG, it's still the best executed out of the franchise, as every decision you make as a lonely courier navigating the Mojave Wasteland truly feels like your own. If you have a Steam Deck, it also runs surprisingly well handheld, and at a new all-time low price, I can't recommend it enough. However, it should be noted that only the base game is at a record low price with a 90% discount. If you want the bundle with all the DLC (which are great as well), you can cash in on the Fallout New Vegas Ultimate bundle, which has a 75% discount. It's up to you how much money to spend here, but determining the future of New Vegas is worth it.

Get the Fallout: New Vegas deal here.

7. Thank Goodness You're Here!

A group of people helping a man who has his arm stuck during one of the best Steam Spring Sale games, Thank Goodness You're Here.

Release: August 1, 2024
Developer: Coal Supper
Price: $9.99/ £7.99
Genre: Comedy-Adventure

If you love Monty Python humor and are after a short game with a ton of personality, then you'll want to grab this deal for Thank Goodness You're Here! As part of our list of the best games of 2024, we have a lot of love for this title, which is essentially a creative celebration of Northern life with some top-quality voice-acting and absurdist gags. You take on the role of a tiny salesman navigating the wacky English town of Barnsworth and must slap your way around the community, solve ridiculous problems, and succumb to endless giggles in the process. At 50%, this gem is now under $10, and I can't recommend taking advantage of that highly enough.

Get the Thank Goodness You're Here! deal here.

6. Resident Evil 3

A group of zombies reaching out at a fence during one of the best Steam Spring Sale games, Resident Evil 3.

Release: April 3, 2020
Developer: Capcom
Price: $3.99/ £3.49
Genre: Survival horror

Resident Evil 3 is largely overlooked in terms of all the recent Resident Evil remakes, but if you are looking for a more action-oriented title set in the zombie-filled universe, then you'll want to check out this 90% discount. Sure, Resi 3 isn't the best Resident Evil game around, but it's still very cool to see modern versions of Hunters and to see a different story unfolding during the events of Resident Evil 2 as well. If you own the Resident Evil 2 remake, I'd say that it's worth taking advantage of this record-low price for Resident Evil 3 while you still can; it's worth adding it to your collection and making it part of any Resident Evil playthroughs that you may be on after wrapping Resident Evil Requiem.

Get the Resident Evil 3 deal here.

5. Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair

Monokuma holding a gun during one of the best Steam Spring Sale games, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair

(Image credit: Spike Chunsoft Co., Ltd.)

Release: April 19, 2016
Developer(s): Spike Chunsoft Co., Ltd., Abstraction Games
Price: $1.99/ £1.49
Genre: Visual novel

Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair is one of the wackiest and over-the-top detective games out there, and is also one of the most memorable experiences on this list. If you haven't played the first game yet, basically, you and your classmates from the elite Hope's Peak Academy are being held hostage by a homicidal teddy bear, and the only way to escape is to get away with murder. It's up to you to catch the killers during Ace Attorney style Class trails before the rest of you are doomed. This sequel is set on Jabberwock Island, amplifies all the anime tropes up to 10, and is even more hilarious than the last game. If you love off-kilter crime games and are an anime enjoyer, you'll want to add Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. It's also at a record low price right now, so now is the best time to get on the Danganronpa murder train.

Get the Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair deal here.

4. Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader

A screenshot of a combat encounter during one of the best Steam Spring Sale games, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader

Release: December 3, 2023
Developer: Owlcat Games
Price: $10.40/ £8.96
Genre: RPG

With a massive discount that would make even the Emperor of Mankind smile, Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader's current price is at an all-time low. Set in the iconic 40K universe and featuring a 100+ hour campaign, it's pretty wild how much content is up for grabs here, especially given the fact that the game also highlights lesser-seen factions and locations from the original tabletop RPG. This is a massive CRPG that may even make Baldur's Gate 3 veterans a little dazed; however, it's a great introduction to the 40K universe and one of the best Warhammer games that you can play right now.

Get the Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader deal here.

3. Perfect Tides: Station to Station

Mara using their computer during one of the best Steam Spring Sale games, Perfect Tides: Station to Station

Release: January 22, 2026
Developer: Three Bees
Price: $15.99/ £13.40
Genre: Point and click narrative adventure

Perfect Tides: Station to Station won the Independent Games Festival's coveted Narrative Excellent award this month for good reason (which makes this discount feel like a steal). Following Mara Whitefish as she studies creative writing in The City, the first time she's left her small hometown, Perfect Tides juggles laugh-out-loud observational comedy with the stomach-churning truths of growing up. Whether that's how to navigate new social opportunities with the obligation of commuting back to your family's house in the suburbs, or leveling up your knowledge across the likes of Anarchism and Movies to write better and better papers, Perfect Tides is bursting at the seams with terrific writing and is hard to put down.

Get the Perfect Tides: Station to Station deal here.

2. Sable

Sable driving her hover bike Simoon in the desert

Release: September 23, 2021
Developer: Shedworks
Price: $6.24/ £5.24
Genre: Open world

Few games are as visually striking as Sable, its scratchy, hand-drawn style really adding to the appeal of diving deep into its huge open world to explore. Playing as Sable, she's set out to explore on a coming-of-age rite of passage, earning masks to prove she's worthy of adulthood. You can actually finish this quest relatively early with only a few, but it's a testament to how the many mysteries of this freeform world catch your attention that you'll want to keep going to find them all. With very little handholding, Sable really rewards curiosity, making this feel like you're having an adventure all your own. At its lowest price yet, what's stopping you from setting out?

Get the Sable deal here.

1. Chivalry 2

A soldier getting ready to fight approaching enemies with fire in front of him during one of the best Steam Spring Sale games, Chivalry 2.

Release: June 12, 2022
Developer: Torn Banner Studios
Price: $3.99/ £3.59
Genre: Multiplayer

All about the impact, Chivalry 2 is a fantastic first-person multiplayer medieval slasher where every cut, every blow, and every angle matters. Precise controls in these chaotic melees can lead to moments of chuckle-worthy physical comedy, and high-pitched winces as you go blow-for-blow with an opponent knowing one solid hit will turn the tide of your whole team's battle. You really need to pay attention to how you hold your shield, and where you try to find enemy vulnerabilities. This excellent sequel was great fun at launch, and has only seen great updates that make this take on medieval warfare even better – meaning that this massively slashed price is a knightly deal indeed.

Get the Chivalry 2 deal here.

Some honorable mentions…

Two characters standing on a glowing battlefield during Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

While the list above are our picks of the best Steam Spring Sale games, there are a ton of great deals that just missed the cut. This was due to some discounts being cheaper in past sales or some prices still being to a bit to high for us. However, they are still great titles and you should still check them out, if you've blasted your way through our top 10 picks already.

  • Hades
  • Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
  • Totally Accurate Battle Simulator
  • Sons Of The Forest
  • STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
  • Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance
  • Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition
