Best downloadable demo: Lost Planet
Publisher: Capcom
Developer: Capcom
Release Date: 2006
You'd better hurry up and get an Xbox Live Gold Membership, because the torrent of E3 coverage last week came with a whopper of a demo for Lost Planet. Two playable levels of bug-blastin', pirate-incineratin' action have completely obliterated our hopes of getting any work done this week.
Fusing a third-person run and gun with giant mechanized Vital Suits, Lost Planet offers a sumptuous platter of alien extermination... with a side of hot graphical gravy. Now, if you'll excuse us, we're running out of Thermal Energy and have to ice some more insects to stock up.
