Beauty and the Beast sneak peek gives us a hint of Emma Watson's Belle

Aside from some recently unveiled concept art and behind-the-scenes photos we've haven't heard much about Disney's live action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, which unveiled its first trailer four months ago. That will change with the 25th anniversary release of the animated classic, which will include a first look at the highly anticipated 2017 film as one of its special features.

Check out a snippet of the sneak peek below...

In addition to director Bill Condon talking about how technology has progressed to the point where a live action version of Beauty and the Beast excited him, the clip also gives us a fresh look at Emma Watson's Belle in the cast's table read. There's also some concept art for characters like Mrs. Potts and Chip in the background of a couple shots, and it's going to be particularly interesting to see how the film translates talking furniture into live action. Here's hoping we get a glimpse of that in the next trailer, which hopefully isn't much further away.

Directed by Bill Condon and starring Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Emma Thompson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellen, Josh Gad, Kevin Kline, and Stanley Tucci, Beauty and the Beast is set for release on March 17, 2017.
