EA bombards eyeballs with new in-game footage

Try not to be deterred by the title of Battlefield 3's Guillotine teaser trailer, as there are neither beheadings or teasing of beheadings. Instead, EA's new video is 47-seconds of beautifully chaotic in-game footage which – come to think of it – may in fact cause fans to lose their head. Figuratively. We hope.

The trailer features a scene from Battlefield 3's solo campaign in which players must enter the city of Tehran, Iran to extract top members of the PLR leadership in a mission called Operation Guillotine. The mission comprises just one 'flashback' in a series of globe-trotting combat scenarios recalled by the main character Sergeant Henry Blackburn on the eve of a devastating attack on New York.
