Super Mario 3D Land had been one of the best-selling Mario games ever, so it makes sense that the Mario team would make its next game in the franchise looks a lot like it, only with the potential for four player co-op. Super Mario 3D World takes a page out of Super Mario Bros. 2 for the NES, and is planned to hit the Wii U this December.
As you can tell by the logo, Mario's newest power-up is a cat suit activated by a bell. Mario can climb walls, attack enemies with claws, and adorableness. We'll have more info on the game very soon, but for now just be happy to know that the spiritual successor for Super Mario Bros. 2 is hitting the Wii U by the end of 2013.
