Star Wars: Rogue One playing card reveals fresh look at Darth Vader

We haven't seen a lot of Darth Vader in the promotional material for Star Wars: Rogue One so far, and while that probably won't change much as the film gets closer to release StarWarsNews.net have uncovered a fresh look at the Sith Lord on some Rogue One playing cards.

The image doesn't reveal much other than the fact that Vader looks to be sporting his armour from Revenge of the Sith, and I really like that the Rogue One marketing is keeping the iconic villain under wraps. Given that we still don't know the extent of the Vader's role in the film, if his appearance is on the brief side then at least this way we'll get the full brunt of it during the film itself, where it will have maximum impact.

Directed by Gareth Edwards and starring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Ben Mendelsohn, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen and Alan Tudyk, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is scheduled to open in UK and US cinemas on December 16, 2016.
