Seth Grahame-Smith will direct The Flash movie

Warner Bros. has found itself a director for its big-screen version of The Flash, with THR reporting that Seth Grahame-Smith will step behind the camera for the superhero adventure. Having served as a screenwriter on the likes of Dark Shadows and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, the film will mark Grahame-Smith’s first outing as a feature film director.

With Phil Lord and Chris Miller having originally written a script treatment, it was anticipated that the duo might take the reins on this one, but their heads were reportedly turned by the opportunity to direct the Han Solo Star Wars spin-off instead. As it is, Grahame-Smith will rewrite the script while also filling the director’s chair.
