Resident Evil 7 demo getting one more update, plus more details on the final game

We've already had one update to the Resident Evil 7 demo, adding some new areas and a partial use of the mystery finger - now we've been promised at least one more before the game arrives in January.

In the interview below (via wccftech.com) Resident Evil 7 producer Masachika Kawata said that "we do plan to update the demo on PSN for the players to experience the other aspects of the game. We don’t have a fixed date  but it will definitely be out before the game comes out".

That January 24 release only leaves a couple of months to see what we can finally do with the finger (which since the last update is now attached to a hand).

Judging by what we've seen so far there's a lot of the game that isn't going to nice to you - a leaked ESRB rating promises a lot of gore for Resi 7. Which is kind of the point.
