This week we're highlighting two pure Psychic-type version exclusives, Gothitelle and Reuniclus. Gothitelle is exclusive to Pokemon Black, and she feels like a Jynx 2.0. Reuniclus, exclusive to White, is a blobby group of cells withgreat Special Attack. Find a friend to trade one for the other depending on the version you have, and let's take a closer look.

Gothitelle reminds us a bit of a Jynx 2.0, since her design is primary based on an overtly feminine human form, albeit this time way less creepy. Like Jynx, who's based on the Japanesegangurofashion trend, Gothitelle and her evolutionary family are based on the lovelygothic Lolitatrend.
If you're planning on using Gothitelle in battle, you'll definitely want to go for her Dream World ability, Shadow Tag, which prevents your opponent from fleeing or switching out. It's an incredibly rare ability (the Wobbuffet and Shandera/Chandelure families are the only other Pokemon that can possess this ability). It's such an interesting and useful ability that if you're using a Shadow Tag Gothitelle, it's best to shape her moveset in way that complements Shadow Tag and causes the most grief for your trapped foe.
She doesn't really have any means of recovery, so it's a good thing she's got respectable defense stats too.
