Gears of War: Judgment season pass detailed

Gears of War: Judgment will launch alongside a season pass, for those multiplayer enthusiasts who want to save a buck or five on comprehensive content. Epic Games today detailed the contents of the pass, which packs in several modes and boosts for owners.

First off, VIP Season Pass owners will get early access to Judgment's two planned add-on packs, which include six maps, two new modes, and new skins for weapons and characters. They'll also get five exclusive weapon skins and four exclusive armor skins right off the bat.

The pass will also make it much easier to get ahead in unlocking the regular multiplayer content--it's the only way to acquire a permanent double experience point boost. Epic hasn't released any more information about the DLC maps and modes, though we expect to find out more soon after Judgment's release on March 19 in the US and March 22 in the UK.

The VIP Season Pass will cost $20, or 1600 Microsoft points.
