Duncan Jones' Source Code gets a trailer

The trailer for Source Code , Duncan Jones' Moon follow-up, has hit the web.

The film stars Jake Gyllenhaal as a soldier who is repeatedly sent back in time to relive the final eight minutes of a commuter's life just before a train is blown up.

Groundhog Day comparisons are inevitable, but there's also something of the Twelve Monkeys about this, with just a dash of Quantum Leap thrown in.

We're huge fans of Moon at Total Film, and we've been keeping an eager eye on this one. Thankfully it looks like Jones has delivered again.

He's juggling a bigger budget and a more expansive cast than before (he basically just had Sam Rockwell then), but this one is shaping up to be just as interesting, with the thought-provoking concept having as much impact as the big-scale explosions.

Michelle Monaghan, Vera Farmiga and Jeffrey Wright round out the cast. Moon 's Clint Mansell is providing the score.

Source Code is due to hit UK cinemas on 11 March 2011, and that can't come soon enough as far as we're concerned.
