Better combat controls, same bizarre mix of humor and horror

Cult open-world horror game Deadly Premonition will see the light of day once again in the first quarter of 2013. Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut will arrive exclusively for PlayStation 3 with updated graphics, controls, and new content, publisher Rising Star Games announced today.

"When Deadly Premonition went on sale, I got loads of feedback from the users, opinions, complaints," director Hidetaka Suehiro told Eurogamer. "So I've got a list of about 200 things they want improved. I'm going through that list and choosing the things I think will be good to work on."

The Director's Cut will also feature a new scenario produced by Suehiro, and new downloadable content.
