Random, aka Mega Ran, didn't get a cease-and-desist order when he released a hip-hop tribute to Mega Man that heavily sampled many of the original sound files from the early games. In fact, Capcom decided to support and promote his fan-driven efforts, which led to the creation of a second album of choice cuts revolving around the heroic blue robot's gaming adventures that was released shortly after Mega Man 9 on WiiWare. A song commemorating the series' first female robot master is a fitting highlight.
Notable lyrics:“I was breezing, battling bosses / The record is flawless, zero losses / Until I came across this stunning young piece / Who resided at the bottom of the sea – and she / Told me her name was splash woman / Beautiful but deadly, she was mad cunning / Had a voice that could sooth the savage beast / her physique was way above average”
