Prime Day Meta Quest deals 2025: Here are the last surviving deals

Jump to:

Prime Day Meta Quest deals are over for this year, but if you missed the boat on them, don't worry. Black Friday is right around the corner, and it promises to bring a lot of VR headset deals to the virtual stores. Luckily, there are still ways to get accessories for your Quest 3 or 3S on the cheap, since a few deals are still surviving.

Syntech Link Cable 16FT | $22.99 $16.99 at Amazon
Save $6 - If you want to be able to charge your headset while you're playing, or you want to tether up to a PC with a wired connection, a Link cable like this will be a big help. It's one of the first Prime Exclusive deals I've spotted for this year's event.

Buy it if:

✅ You want to charge while playing
✅ You don't have a charging stand
✅ You want to hook up to a PC

Don't buy it if:

❌ You're happy using Steamlink
❌ You keep your headset charged between sessions

BOBOVR S3 Pro Battery Strap | $89.99 $71.99 at Amazon
Save $18 - It's now back at the $18 saving we saw in July, so be quick to this Prime Members' deal. This is for those who want a heavy-duty headstrap for Quest 3, but it's one of the few options that doesn't have a support strand over the top of the head, which means it won't mess up your hairdo.

Buy it if:

✅ You want extra battery life
✅ You want to play VR without it messing up your hair
✅ You don't like the stock headstrap for Quest 3

Don't buy it if:

❌ This seems a little pricey

UK: £95 at Amazon

KIWI Design Comfort head strap | £39.99 $31.21 at Amazon
Save $8 - KIWI's head strap is our favorite for adding more comfort to the Quest 3. Admittedly, this is the cheaper non-battery pack option, but it's still worth buying if you don't need the extra juice. As an early Prime deal, this isn't a bad shout.

Buy it if:

✅ You want a comfortable head strap
✅ You have a Quest 3 or 3S
✅ You're looking for something under $50

Don't buy it if:

❌ You need a battery pack
❌ You find straps on the top of your head annoying

UK: £39.99 at Amazon

KIWI Design Comfort Battery head strap for Quest 3 / Quest 3S$59.99$47.99 at AmazonSave $12

KIWI Design Comfort Battery head strap for Quest 3 / Quest 3S | $59.99 $47.99 at Amazon
Save $12 - While the brand's comfort head strap is great, this slightly pricier one gives you extra battery life. It's the one I use on my Quest 3, and I love the extra comfort it gives me. It isn't the best for really active games though, and can sometimes feel a bit insecure overall.

Buy it if:

✅ You want something comfortable
✅ You need extra battery life

Don't buy it if:

❌ You play a lot of active games
❌ You don't like a top band that'll give you a bad hair day

UK: £67 at Amazon

PRISMXR Charging Dock for Quest 3 | $76.99 $61.59 at Amazon
Save $15 - If you want a simple charging station for your Quest 3, PrismXR gives you a nice pedestal to display your headset on as it recharges. This isn't a huge saving, but it's good value versus a lot of other overpriced charging stands.

Buy it if:

✅ You want a charging stand
✅ You need somewhere to put your headset between sessions

Don't buy it if:

❌ You have a Quest 3S

UK: £59 at Amazon

PrismXR Battery Pack Belt for Quest 3/3S | $59.99 $47.49 at Amazon
Save $11.50 - This is a really nifty solution for adding more battery power to your Quest headset without adding more weight to your head or neck. Strap this clever belt around your waist, plug in, and you've got an easy solution without being tethered to a PC that requires an extra-long Link Cable.

Buy it if:

✅ You find battery head straps heavy
✅ You want longer battery life
✅ You don't mind putting a belt on

Don't buy it if:

❌ You don't need power for longer sessions
❌ You already have a battery headstrap

UK: £39.99 at Amazon

PrismXR Vega T1 Earbuds | $69.99 $39.99 at Amazon

Luckily, one of the best and affordable sets is currently on sale at a 43% discount! The PrismXR Vega T1s offers great sound quality, six hours of battery time, and are great alternative to more pricy brands.

Buy it if:

✅ You want an affordable option
✅ You want somthing lightweight and comfortable
✅ You like playing for longer sessions

Don't buy it if:

❌ You want ear buds with a USB-C passthrough port

When did October's Prime Day Meta Quest deals end?

Prime Day Meta Quest deals ended on October 8, at 23:59 local time. However, while the sale may be ending, it also marks the start of sales season in general as we head into the holiday period. And, if you are looking for more immediate sales, both Best Buy and Newegg have competing events running through the 12th to check out.

Do you need a membership for Prime Day Meta Quest deals?

Usually, Prime Day Meta Quest deals aren't Prime Exclusive, and competing retailers will usually run their own seasonal sales at the same time as Amazon. We did see some more accessory deals for the Quest 2 and 3 become Prime Exclusive, so if it's those you seek, you might want to think about a Prime membership. If you play your cards right though, you could get around paying for it. Take out a free trial in the week or so before the event kicks off, get access to the benefits, and then cancel before you need to pay.

You don't even need to pay to take part in Prime Day Meta Quest 2 deals if you play your cards right. If you grab a free 30-day trial now, you'll be covered for Prime Day itself. Be sure to set a reminder, though, this will auto-renew into a full membership if you don't cancel it after the sale has passed.

What to expect from Prime Day Meta Quest deals in 2025

This is the first year in a while where a new Meta Quest headset hasn't launched. For deals, that's actually great news because it means the existing Quest 3 and 3S devices are far more likely to see discounts before the event ends.

The Quest 3 512GB model is now two years old, and the Quest 3S is about to celebrate its first birthday. What better way to get the end-of-year sales figures up than with some discounts and new bundles? I can absolutely see this being the tactic, especially since rumors have been swirling this year that Valve Deckard is going to be arriving soon, and Meta will want to draw all the attention it can.

With the Batman Arkham Shadow bundle starting to disappear, I wouldn't be surprised if we got a new bundled game deal too. It might be a little late to call this for October's Prime Day event since it's set for launch in the middle of November, but I could easily see Deadpool VR getting a Quest 3 bundle before the sale is over.

Don't forget that we'll also get plenty of bundles with accessories, too, since these already exist at Amazon and other retailers. New this year is the Quest 3S Limited Edition Xbox bundle, and personally, I'm surprised that stock still exists of it, but some discounts during Prime Day might be worth keeping an eye on.

If one thing is for sure, we'll continue to get plenty of discounts on all the third-party accessories for the Quest 3 and 3S. These are the bread and butter of a lot of Amazon's Prime exclusive sales. Expect some of these to be limited-time, Prime-exclusive offers, since they have been in previous sales.

What about the competition?

PSVR 2 has now received a permanent price drop, which makes it cheaper than the Quest 3 512GB. The recent Days of Play sale saw it decrease by a further $50 / £50, and so we may not see a repeated discount over Prime Day (which could be as soon as a month away). I've been noticing that the Quest 3S and PSVR 2 have been competing on prices a lot lately, so when one gets a discount, the other does too.

The Pico 4 Ultra is also an excellent alternative to the Meta Quest 3 if you're shopping in the UK. It has gotten a price drop over Prime Day, which keeps it competitively priced, although its price isn't as affordable as the Quest 3S or PSVR 2, so I'd say consider it if you have the budget for a Quest 3 512GB.
