      It will be really funny when Versus XIII comes out and all you kids crying about it will be the first to hate it for not being a "true" Final Fantasy. I didn't play XIII-2, but I really loved XIII, so I'm curious to see how this one comes out.

      LOL, nobody's buying vitas because of lack of games, but nobody is making games because of lack of console owners...that is just a perfect recipe for failure. But I am not really sure what is meant with the comments regarding global internet infrastructure, games like world of warcraft and such have been more than capable of handling massive numbers of players for years now. Sure somebody is always going to have a dropped connection every now and then but that's not going to change at any point in the near future. Also how does this relate only to the vita? He suggests the vita has a less stable connection that other formats but I do not see how that is possible. It seems to me more like they are looking for any excuse to avoid making vita games.

Even though i didn't win i did cry a little but I'm am not a b d sport and I hope that final fantasy means something to that person other than just a game because it means a lot to me.       Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII was a joke way to easy I won the vast majority of fights while pressing the attack button over and over again while using the other hand to smoke and or drink and only had to look at the screen to move my character in between fights. No way its number 2

      jmcgrotty. you are a tool. :) I've played FFT sometime like six times through, so wouldn't that make it 600% playable for me... or at least 100%... That said, I was worried that this list was going to be messed up, as well. I read through the choices, getting more frustrated with each one... in my mind thinking you wouldn't mention SoM and FFT. But, by the time I got to #3, I realized you had done your gaming research. Good list, mad props. Couldn't agree more with the list, especially the top 3 -- and especially the top cut. FFT has a better story than basically any game in history (for me) and a complex set of plots and emotions that leave every character (save Ramza) feeling more toward the center of the moral spectrum than outright good or evil. It was one of the first games that did that, whereas most games pitted "Selfless Hero" A vs "No Compassion Fiber in Their Body Villain" B.

      I know this is an old article, but hell I feel like commenting. I picked up 13-2 a couple weeks ago and have been playing heavy... But no matter how hard I try I still can't put it over 13. the story is too chopped up to be interesting, and if you mistakingly unlock an area that you aren't ready for, you end up wasting time doing small quests in that area only to be completely destroyed by the boss at the end... I dunno, I like the characters quite a bit, but the story just seems so tossed together.
