PokemonRadar: week two

Ready for some more Pokemon? In the second week of PokemonRadar, we're picking up five Pokemon, each of which has two evolutionary stages. Enjoy, and tune in next week, when we'll reveal their evolved forms. Keep checking - we're going to barrel through the new Pokemon from Diamond and Pearl till you're sick of hearing about them. Is that even possible? We'll find out.

Pokemon Name: Bippa
Type: Normal
Classification: Round Mouse
Pokédex Number: 013 Shinou / 399 National
Abilities: Simple-minded - Effects of held items and attacks are increased. Natural - Enemy’s stat changes are ignored.
Location Found: Everywhere
Useful Attacks: Hyper Fang

The Pokemon adventures have a number of well-defined traditions, one of which is a regional infestation of a new rodent Pokemon. First there was Rattata, then Sentret, Zigzagoon and now we have Bippa. Shinou is infested with Bippas, making them ideal Pokemon to mess around with and quickly turn into a HM slave - so you don't have to screw up your fighting Pokes' abilities. Evolved, Bippa can be a solid Normal-type Pokemon, thanks in part to its interesting abilities. We'll tell you more about that next week.
