I'll be buying FIFA this year after skipping 2010's football games altogether. I used to play PES dating back from ISS:Deluxe through to PES'08 but Konami didn't innovate enough and PES stagnated. Kudos to EA for gazumping them. I have no loyalty to a brand, I just want to play the best sim and at the moment FIFA is that game.

@myguyfromthe80s Hello. This is obviously not a review of PES 2011, merely a brief hands-on, where we're trying to convey how it differs from last year's game on the pitch. As you say, Master League is of course a huge part of the appeal in PES (I've lost weeks of my life trying to mould Arsenal into a title winning team in the past). When we do further coverage on a more advanced build of the game, we'll make sure to touch on Master League.

Until you explain Master League Mode, you have covered nothing. Every year it's the same thing, reviews based on 1-2-1 matches, and online play. Pro always wins thanks to Master League, but every year, you reviewers fail to cover this. If I wanted Arcade football, I'd still be playing Adidas Power Soccer.
