Ouya (retail unit) unboxing

We've had a Kickstarted Ouya for a few months now, but we haven't really done a ton with it. We thought it made sense to wait for the full retail version that anyone could buy before we'd start really digging into whether or not the new system would be worth investing in. And it's a good thing we waited--after getting some hands-on with the retail Ouya (launching on June 25, 2013), we've already noticed some marked improvements over the one we received for our hard-earned Kickstarter money. You can read about in our full Ouya review, but in the meantime we unboxed the version you'll be able to get soon to show exactly what comes with the $99 model. Take a look!

looks interesting, but the release-date after E3 is just horrible - everyone will be saving their coins for a next gen console by now... besides that: guys, when you do unboxing videos: please dont intentionally torture the packaging, throw it around and call things "a piece of shit" - its neither cool nor funny and it doesnt really make me looking forward to unboxing it myself

Huh. I guess they really weren't that far off when they said it would be just like a Rubik's Cube. You don't need AA's to play with a Rubik's Cube though XD

When did Ben Affleck start working at Gamesradar?

Still haven't gotten mine BTW. I backed it, and am in Canada. I did back the last minute Special edition though. It has been shipped at least, but yeah rather late isn't it?

You must be lying because units are 100% shipped.

He said it shipped, it just hasn't gotten to him yet

Sorry, a little inside joke XD They've been claiming that consoles were shipped to backers a while ago then said that they were shipped to warehouses.

Wow it is small and odd, I was going to say something in it's defense as someone who was tempted to back this on kickstarters, but "small and odd" is a good description.

    It"s small and odd.
