No Tomb Raider demo pre-launch

Square-Enix's Tomb Raider reboot will not receive a demo version ahead of its March 5 release, according to Crystal Dynamics.

Karl Stewart, Global Brand Director, said in a tweet: "For all those @tombraider fans asking. There are no plans to release a demo of the game pre-launch. We don't want to spoil the story........ " before adding: "...We've weaved such an [sic] personal story we don't believe spoiling it by having you wait a week or so to play on, delivers on our promise."

Stewart also promised to explain more in the next Tomb Raider Crystal Habit podcast which is due tomorrow. While this doesn't rule out a demo post-launch, it does mean a long wait for the series' many fans. We've already played it, of course, and share our experiences with you in  21 awesome things we did and saw in Tomb Raider.

I was actually at an event last night which I won from another website (which I wont name ;) ). And after being initially skeptical about the game and the multiplayer in particular. However after speaking and playing with some of the guys from Eidos its clear to see alot of care and love has gone into this game and honestly its a damn good blast to play online. However my view maybe slightly swayed due to the free food and beers :P . However I shall be purchasing this game and hope to see you guys online soon!
